Inside Out Youth Ministries
Grades 6-12:
There she was. She was pretty. She was popular. She
was nice. She was nice to me! Everyone liked her. She
was perfect. Oh, I’m sure she had some problems, but I never heard
any guy or girl for that matter say anything bad. I wanted to get
to know her better, but then time ran out.
She had a blood vessel
burst in her brain during tennis practice one day and within days she
was dead.
And that was the first time that I realized this principle. She
wasn’t normal. At least in a lot of ways. She stayed a
virgin. She didn’t drink or do drugs. She wasn’t prideful.
She was different. And it made a difference. She didn’t fit
into a particular group at school. It was like she was a part of
every group. She cared about people, but most of all she cared
about God.
At her memorial service, hundreds and hundreds of teens got out of their
seats and came to the front of a church so that they too could know for
the first time or get right with the God that this girl knew and loved.
She lived Inside Out.
Like Jesus, she lived backwards of the way that everyone else was trying
it. Not only that, but she took what she had learned on the
inside, about Jesus and his ways, and she lived it out. And it
made a difference.
Do You Want your Life to Make a Difference?
Inside-Out is for middle and high school ages. Each weekly meeting
includes a time of modern praise and worship led by Pastor Josh,
engaging teaching, fun activities, and prayer.
What to Expect:
Worship that is passionate and God-Glorifying
Regular and relevant teaching from the Bible. The teachings cover
a wide range of topics such as: Salvation, Sexuality,
Relationships, Prayer, Evangelism, and Handling Conflict.
Fellowship activities that promote healthy and edifying relationships.
Fellowship activities include attendance at organized youth conferences/
summer camps, Christian concerts, and group outings such as a day at the
beach or a theme park.
Meeting Times:
The Youth Group Ministry meets every Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm.
